Alongside our partners YourPact, we worked with the Racing Foundation to gather information from their beneficiary charities on their attitudes towards and work done to date with regards sustainability. The Racing Foundation has an ambition to drive improvements within the industry but needed some baseline information before developing a full sustainability strategy. We conducted in-depth interviews with a range of associated charities, collecting information across a range of topics related to the key pillars of sustainability.
With that information we were then able to make recommendations both for immediate and longer-term action. In addition, having this preliminary discussion with these key stakeholders was a great engagement exercise, and has set the scene for the Racing Foundation to move ahead with a more comprehensive strategy.
